Place the swing on the floor on a firm, flat indoor surface before use. Unlock the swing mechanism as shown in the submitted image, secure the restraint snugly, choose a speed and timer setting from the control panel or remote, and stay near your baby at all times. Never lift or carry the swing with a baby inside, never place it on a bed, sofa, cushion, elevated surface, or other soft surface, and stop use when your baby starts trying to sit up or reaches the listed weight limit. If baby falls asleep, move baby as soon as possible to a firm, flat sleep surface such as a crib or bassinet.
